This repair service is to repair these 2 types of problems with SNES consoles only. For all other SNES repair issues, please email shipping@nintendorepairshop.com to determine if we can help you. This service is not for the SNS-101, also called SNES 2 or mini.
1) You are sure your AC adapter is working, but your SNES console gets no power (no red light).
2) The little plastic piece with the hole in it that should be on the back of the SNES console where you plug in the AC adapter is missing. You can see 2 little wires where the plastic piece should be. Your SNES may work, as long as you don't jiggle the AC adapter cord.
Note: The SNES Repair Service also includes cleaning and testing of internal components including the 62 Pin SNES Connector. In most cases this in addition to
having your SNES games cleaned is all that is necessary to fix your system.

2). Pack up your system, include your order printout (or a note with your name, order #, and email address), and write a short explanation of your issue (do not ship controllers, adapters, or the original box).
Repair service and round-trip shipping usually take 1-2 weeks.
We highly recommend having your games cleaned by us or buying a
nintendo game cleaning kit from us as well. For dirty games you will likely need to clean them before achieving the desired performance.
