Play your NES from across the room & no need to trip on cords or be limited by their length!  Receiver plugs into the NES console.  Wireless infrared remote controller (transmitter) needs 4 AAA batteries - not included.  Has directional pad - select - start - A - B buttons much like an original NES controller but a little thicker.  Previously owned but tested and guaranteed to work.
