10-Yard Fight is a simple arcade game based on American football. Setupoptions consist of 1 player vs. the computer AI vs. 2 playerhead-to-head matchup and 5 levels of difficulty (high school collegepro playoffs and Super Bowl). If you win a game at a lower difficultylevel the following game is automatically played at the next highestdifficulty level. Gameplay is top-down and vertical-scrolling.There are no plays or formations to select from before the actionbegins; just take the snap as quarterback or choose one of two playerson defense. On offense you must improvise either keeping the ball onthe run tossing it to one of the two running backs or throwing longto you receiver--but be careful an interception turns the ball over tothe other team. If you can't score a touchdown then you can use thedirectional kicking system to punt the ball or try for a field goal.Just remember: you've only got two (accelerated real-time) 30-minutehalves of play to decide who wins this 10-Yard Fight!
