Q: Do you ship outside the US?
A: Yes! We ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) and offer 3 shipping classes. We must have a first and last name, no initials, for the shipping name. We have no way of verifying international mailing addresses, so please be sure what you give us is complete and accurate. Please enter your shipping address in all capital letters. If your country is not listed on our dropdown country list, please contact us, we may be able to add it.
Q: How long will it take to get here?
- First Class International: very economical, for orders less than 4 pounds. The USPS does not give an expected delivery time, but in our experience, it is usually 5 to 14 business days, occasionally longer. No tracking.
- Priority International: usually 5 to 10 business days. Phone # is recommended for the customs form. No tracking, although sometimes the package is scanned when it leaves the US and when it clears your customs.
- Express Mail International: usually 3 to 6 business days. Phone # is required for the customs form. Tracking available.
A: All customs taxes or duties, if any, would be your responsibility. Many countries do not charge customs fees on orders under a certain small limit. Customs handling can occasionally extend the shipping time.
Q: How much will it cost to ship to my country?
A: The best way to determine the cost is to place your order. select the items you want, enter your shipping address, and select your shipping method. If you don't like the shipping cost, then proceed to the checkout page, click on "cancel order," and do not enter payment information.
Product Compatibility outside the US?
Q: I live outside of North America (US, Canada, Mexico). Will your products work here (Europe, Australia, etc.)?
A: If you are ordering anything other than a system console, AC adapter power supply, or game cartridge, no problem! Controllers, repair tools and parts, cleaning kits, AV cables and RF switches, etc., should work fine worldwide! If you are in doubt, contact us and ask.
Q: Why won't your AC adapter power supplies, system consoles, and game cartridges work in Europe or other areas outside of North America?
A: Our products were made for use in North America, which has different electrical current from much of the rest of the world. You might need a power converter to use our power supply in your country.
The video output for TV also differs between North America and some other parts of the world. US, Canada, Mexico, some parts of South America, the Philippines and some other countries (and our games) use NTSC. In Europe and Australia, for example, it is PAL. You would need a converter to play our NTSC games on your PAL system, and possibly system modifications. Some game cartridges made for PAL systems physically will not fit in NTSC systems, and vice versa.
Q: Will any of your consoles play PAL or Famicom games?
A: Yes, the Retro Duo will play many (but not all) SNES PAL and Famicom (made for Japan) games, which will allow you to play some game titles that were only available in the Japanese and European markets on your system in the US and Canada.
